Otago Peninsula:

Not far from Dunedin you will find the Otago Peninsula with it’s rugged coastline and deserted beaches and amazing coastal views. At the foot of Taiaroa Head is the Royal Albatross Centre, where you can see the Northern Royal Albatross in a mainland setting (the only place in the world where this is possible).

Closer to Dunedin City there is the opportunity to view different wildlife, including the world’s rarest penguin colonies.
