Blenheim is situated in the Marlborough region of New Zealand. Blenheim’s attractions include its wine industry, the spectacular Marlborough Sounds, gourmet foods and an extensive array of  adventure activities.

The Marlborough Sounds incorporates an extensive network of coastal waterways, peninsulas and islands.

This region is also home to the famous 70km Queen Charlotte Walking Track which takes in coastal forest, coves and inlets, and skyline ridges.

The Marlborough Sounds offers a vast array of marine based activities such as sea kayaking, jet ski-ing, dolphin encounters, diving for wrecks, fishing, and cruising.

Blenheim enjoys one of New Zealand’s sunniest climates, with hot, relatively dry summers and crisp winters.

The Marlborough region offers a wide range of leisure activities, from swimming with dolphins in the Marlborough Sounds to watching whales in Kaikoura; bush walks of varying durations, scenic boat cruises, fishing charters, water-skiing and kayaking.

Blenheim is the focal point for the Marlborough wine growing region (New Zealand’s largest) and a number of wineries are located on the towns edges. While the region is well known for its world class Sauvignon Blanc, it has also established itself as a premium wine producer of Chardonnay, Riesling, Pinot Noir, Pinot Gris and Gewurztraminer.

Wither Hills Mountain Bike Park:

Wither Hills Mountain Bike Park is one of a number of bike trails. Other well known parks Conders Bend and Whites Bay.
